Multipurpose low viscosity bonding agent & admixture
Vetonit Bond 2 is a single component Styrene Butadiene Rubber based, bonding agent for cementitious materials. It is a water based, specially formulated to enhance bonding properties as well as improve mechanical strengths of cementitious mixes when incorporated with mixing water. Vetonit Bond 2 also reduces shrinkage cracks during early stages of cement hardening by minimizing surface water loss in fresh applied mixes. Vetonit Bond 2 can be diluted on site with potable water for desired applications. Vetonit Bond 2 is ideal for use with Premix Plaster.
Vetonit Bond 2 is supplied in 3 & 20 Liter Containers, Coverage: 12-16 m²/Ltr as bonding agent
Original sealed container of Vetonit Bond 2 has a shelf life of 12 months provided it is stored clear of ground in a dry shaded place below 25ºC.
Vetonit Bond 2 has tendency of soft settlement on storage and therefore it is recommended to mix the material in same container prior to use.
Follow the dilution ratio required for each type of premixed mortar.
Dilute 1 part Vetonit Bond 2 with 2 parts water. Mix thoroughly to obtain uniform consistency liquid.
Add the diluted Vetonit Bond 2 to pre-blended sand/cement plaster, mortar, or other dry mixes. Mix for 3-4 min using mechanical mixer at low speed. Let the mixture stand for 10 min and mix again briefly to achieve homogeneous lump free mixture.
As Bonding Agent
Dilute 2 parts Vetonit Bond 2 with 1 part water. Mix thoroughly to obtain uniform consistency liquid.
Apply using brush or spray directly onto substrate. If using hand pump, spray at a rate of 15 m2/litre. While bonding agent is still wet, follow immediately by applying plaster, render, mortars or joint tapes etc.
Note: Vetonit Bond 2 should remain tacky when applying top coat finishes.
Surface must be well cleaned and free from loose materials. Inconsistent parts, varnishes, grease, laitance, algae, must be eliminated through sand blasting or brushing before applying Vetonit Bond 2.
Use the whole material once you opened the pack as the material start to skin & then dry.
Do not mix with other materials. Do not apply the product at temperature less than +7ºC.
Tools should be cleaned with water before it hardens. After the hardening its residuals can be removed mechanically only.

Vetonit Bond 2 is irritant and harmful therefore avoid direct contact with eyes or skin. It is recommended to use protective gloves and goggles during application. In case of contact with eyes, clean immediately with plenty of clean cold water and seek medical advise.
Ensure adequate ventilation when using the material and avoid inhalation of vapours.
