Vetorep ER351 is a two component epoxy based thixotropic solvent free compound. Once components of the kit are mixed the products becomes a smooth paste that is used to repair surface imperfections and irregularities, fill blow holes and pores while being completely impermeable and having excellent adhesive and bonding properties. The thixotropic nature of the products allows it to function in vertical and overhead situation without sagging while maintaining excellent bond.

Original sealed kits of Vetorep ER351 has a shelf life of 12 months provided it is stored clear of ground in a dry and shaded temperature controlled place <35ºC.
Vetorep ER351 comprises two components, a resin Base and a Hardener, which are supplied preweighed in the correct proportions. Under no circumstances should part mixing be carried out. When required for application, the two components should be mixed well until a uniform consistency and color are obtained, this should be ideally carried out using a mechanical mixer.
For bonding concrete sections, an even coating of product should be applied to both surfaces and these brought together under light pressure. Any excess paste which exudes from the joint should be removed and the joint trowelled to a neat finish. The assembled sections should be protected from movement until the resin is set. Where Vetorep ER351 is to be used as a bonding primer in the vertical or overhead position, an even layer of Vetorep ER351 should be applied to the surface and worked well in to ensure good contact. The material to be bonded should then be placed after approximately 30 minutes at 20ºC. (This time refers to the total elapsed time from mixing the product). For patch repairs, Vetorep ER351 should be applied to the surface and finished to levels. A smooth surface will be aided by wetting the trowel sparingly with Vetonit Solvent XX400. Vetorep ER351 can be applied to cracks or in accessible areas by means of a sealant gun.
Vetorep ER351 has a working time of approximately 45 minutes at 20°C. Mixed material should not be left standing for any length of time prior to application, as this will considerably reduce its working time.
Vetorep ER351 shall be allowed to cure for 24 hours at 20°C before being subjected to foot traffic. At the same temperature, full mechanical and chemical properties are achieved after 7 days (please consult Saveto Technical Department for details of curing times at other temperatures).
Clean uncured material with Vetonit Solvent XX400. Cured material can only be removed mechanically.
The surface must be structurally sound, free from oil, grease and other forms of contamination. Concrete should be surface dry and suitably prepared either by scabbling or grit blasting to remove any surface laitence.
Steel surfaces should be grit blasted to remove all rust and scale.
Vetorep ER351 Contains resins which may cause sensitization by skin contact. Avoid contact with skin and eyes and inhalation of vapor. Wear suitable protective clothing, gloves and eye/face protection. Barrier creams provide additional skin protection. Should accidental skin contact occur, remove immediately with a resin removing cream, followed by soap and water. Do not use solvent. In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of clean water and seek medical advice. If swallowed seek medical attention immediately. Do not induce vomiting.
Vetorep ER351 is non-flammable.
Vetonit Solvent XX400 is flammable, do not expose to direct flame and keep away from heat sources.
